The NXP Technology Days took place from October 30-31 in Detroit, USA.
Hosted by NXP Semiconductors, this event was focused on automotive design and offered more than 85 hours of hands-on workshops and lectures. Attendees had the chance to explore over 55 demos from NXP and its partners in the Technology Lab, while enjoying various networking opportunities throughout the event.

Day one of NXP Technology Days Detroit 2024 opened with an impactful keynote titled „The Software-Defined Vehicle: A Sustainable, Disruptive Technology.” This session set the stage by exploring the transformative role of software in creating adaptable, eco-friendly vehicles and the broad implications for the automotive industry. Following the keynote, attendees delved into highly focused technical sessions organized into multiple specialized tracks. Over two days, these tracks included sessions on In-Vehicle Experience, which explored enhanced user interaction and infotainment; Electric Vehicles (EV), focusing on power management and sustainability; Software-Defined Vehicles, examining the shift toward software-based systems; and ADAS & Safe Driving, where discussions centered around advancements in safety technologies and autonomous driving systems.
The event offered a rich lineup of workshops, hands-on demos, and talks led by NXP’s experts, allowing participants to engage deeply with the technologies driving next-generation vehicle innovation. This structure provided attendees with the knowledge and practical skills to address pressing industry challenges, from integrating complex software in vehicles to improving efficiency in electric and autonomous systems.
